Automation

PlannedNext on the roadmap

Control Ovra from outside the app: from scripts, other apps, the Shortcuts app or the terminal.

What’s planned

ovra:// URL scheme

Open URLs that other apps can call, for example to open a page in a new tab or switch theme:

ovra://open?url=https%3A%2F%2Fexample.com
ovra://new-tab
ovra://theme?name=Forest%20Bloom

AppleScript

A scripting dictionary to read and control windows and tabs:

tell application "Ovra"
get URL of active tab of front window
end tell

Shortcuts

Actions for the Shortcuts app: Open URL in Ovra, Get Current Page, Set Theme, Export Backup.

Examples above show the intended shape and may change before release.
